Dairy policy advocacy by dairy farmers for dairy farmers is the heart of who we are.
We bring producer voices directly to Washington, leading on the issues that define dairy’s future:

• Milk Pricing Reform: Advocating for fairness,      transparency, and accountability in federal milk pricing — from restoring the “higher of” Class I formula to challenging excessive make allowance hikes that permanently deduct from farm milk checks. ADC continues to push for mandatory price reporting instead of voluntary surveys to ensure all market data reflect reality and protect farmers’ share of the value chain.
• Farm Labor Solutions: Promoting stable, year-round      workforce options that meet the real needs of modern dairies while supporting family operations and protecting animal care standards.
• Regulatory & Climate Policy: Advancing common-sense,      science-based policies that credit environmental stewardship already achieved on farms while protecting data ownership and independence.
• Market Access & Consumer Confidence: Defending real dairy in schools, stores, and nutrition programs while promoting a strong domestic market and fair global trade access.

Through hearings, policy meetings, and direct communication with media and legislators, ADC ensures farmers’ perspectives are heard where decisions are made.
